Singer Chris Brown attends a sentencing where he is sentenced to five years probation at the Superior Court of Los Angeles County on August 5, 2009 in Los Angeles.
The judge just delayed Chris Brown’s formal sentencing until August 27th at 2 PM PT. The judge said she wants Brown to perform Caltrans type work — hard labor — for his community service and the type of service hasn’t been arranged yet. So she’s deferred the sentence until later this month.
The judge wants to know what Brown will be doing for his community service — 90% of the community service is accounted for but the remaining 10% needs to be locked down. Rhianna lawyer, Donald Etra, says "Brown has not violated the stay away order." Brown pled guilty to felony assault last month.
UPDATE: Chris Brown has just been cut loose from the Wrigley brand due to his felony charges of assault. The brand temporarily halted any and all promo and advertisements he did for them. And they announced today they have officially split ways from Chris Brown after his guilty plea.
Sucks for him.....
